My Promise To You xx

I promise...

...to love you with an unselfish devotion
...to care for you with tenderness
...to always be faithful
...to take you with your faults and your strengths
...to help you when you need help
...and turn to you when I need help
...to laugh with you and cry with you
...to comfort, encourage and inspire you
...to talk to you and listen to you
...to hold you close and give you space
...to give you the best of myself
...and to ask no more than you give
...to accept you the way you are
...and to never try to change you
...to respect you for your uniqueness
...to share my innermost feelings and fears
...and my secrets and my dreams
...to live with you and be there for you
...to stand by your side
...to sleep in your arms
...to be joy to your heart
...to be food to your soul
...to bring out the best in you
...and be the most that I can be

Through the pressures of the present
And the uncertainties of the future

You are my friend, my lover, my everything.

I love you xx

A Lesson About Impossibilities

The other day I was explaining to Andy how most women dream as little girls of meeting the perfect man and living happily ever after.

We believed that fairytale ending till one day your heart gets broken and you stop believing. You stop dreaming.

I then remembered a very interesting lesson that Andy taught me way back when we first started chatting.

I realised that I was in love with him and I was thinking to myself...ARE YOU CRAZY??

I mean, this guy lived thousands of miles away from me, what was the chances of us ever meeting? I remember we were chatting in a room and I said to him ″Some things are just impossible″. This was before he knew how I felt, but he must've understood what I meant. He replied ″Nothing is impossible, just improbable″.

He gave me the courage to dream again and my fairytale became a reality to me.

:o)

WAP Love

Interesting addiction.

What can I say?

*Been There...Done That*

I started out two years ago on a mobile chat site. At first I just used to write blogs and later I went into chat rooms and became completely addicted.

Yes. ADDICTED.

Looking back now on how it affected my life I have no regrets though. Why?

After two interesting years I'm one of the very few people who met the love of my life (and I mean that) on that very site where I started out.

So now you're gonna laugh at me? Go ahead.

This person came all the way from Guernsey to South Africa to meet me.

No, having a relationship on a chat site is not easy and we even lost contact for eight months but I believe there is a reason for everything that happens and a time for it to happen.

He saved my life and took away the pain and sadness. He made me happy :o)
